Q: Are you a drive-in movie theater?
A: Yes We are! BUT WE ARE the FIRST AND ONLY MINI-URBAN DRIVE-IN. So we are not located in a giant field with 300 car spots. We are right in the middle of the city and have created a very Austin, very intimate drive-in movie watching experience. Currently, we have 15-25 car slots available per showing in ATX and 40 in Round Rock.
Q: What kind of movies do you show?
A: We are kinda like BOB FM, we play anything WE WANT. Our main rule is it has to be something that was made during the days of drive-ins. 1940s to 1980s. We also show NEW INDIE movies, and anything that was meant to be seen in a drive-in setting. and Downtown we NOW HAVE NEW RELEASES!
Q: How much is it?
A:Our ticket packages start at $25-$35 for a car slot for 2 or the Car Slot for 2 with Concession. You tune in through your FM radio. NO HIDING IN THE TRUNK LIKE THOSE CRAZY KIDS DID IN THE 1950s OK we trust you! If a ticket does not show up as an option it means it's sold out!
Q: Can I walk in, or Bike In To Drive-in
A:We do have a walk-in only experiences with seating at our Mueller Location- currently is is seasonal!
Our new Central Location at 500 VFW will have Walk-in options as we roll out our new location!
Q: Can I bring my Dog?
A: Does it bark at cars, people, the moon, you, or at movies? Then no. If it doesn't and is on a leash and is the friendliest dog in the world then yes!
Q: Can I just show up? Do I HAVE to have a reservation?
A: You can! * But please note...Our car slots are LIMITED! GATES OPEN 40 minutes BEFORE THE FIRST MOVIE, and 30 minutes before showtime for a second feature of the night. Reservations should show up at latest 15-30 minutes before showtime. But our Pre-show fun starts right when gates open!
Q: Can I reserve a specific SPOT or ROW?
A: No. It's all based on CAR SIZE and WHEN YOU ARRIVE. LARGE CARS are always in BACK ROW, small will get front unless you arrive after all the front spaces have been taken.
Q: Can we sit in the back of our truck?
A: Hells yea! Just tell your Drive-in attendant you wanna park with your cab out. BUT you MUST FOLLOW THE NO TALKING OUT OF YOUR CAR RULE and it's only for our BIG CAR ROW in BACK! and you must wear a mask when not in the truck bed! Hatchback Viewing for Small/Medium Cars: On sold out and busy nights we cannot accommodate small cars parked backwards with hatches up. Thank you for understanding and plan accordingly.
Any available back in / hatch back view spaces are first come first serve and we can not guarantee that they will be available on any given night or time. Those that are available are to the far left and far right of screen (in the BIG CAR AREA.) We recommend that all med./ small cars watch the film from inside or in front of their vehicle for best viewing experience. BIGGER CARS (AKA TALL CARS): SUVS, JEEPS, CUVS etc... can watch from HATCH in BIG CAR ROW with the BIG CAR CAR SLOT TICKET!
Q: Can I bring my really really big SUV:
A: You can, but it may affect where we're able to place you in the lot.

Q: What do we have?
A: Popcorn, Soda, Candy, at all locations.
Q: Can I bring my own food and drinks.
A: Yes. But we would appreciate you buying some of our Tasty Treats as it is what keeps us in business. But you are WELCOME to BYOB at our DOWNTOWN LOCATION. Our new Central Location is NOT BYOB as we have our onsite VFW run Canteen/super cool dive bar.
Q: So what are your concession "Packages?"
A: OUR TASTY TREAT STANDARD CONCESSIONS PACKAGE COMES WITH 1 POPCORN AND 1 CANDY.
Q: Can we leave our car on some of the time for air or heat? (Usually CARS MUST BE OFF DURING MOVIE- CURRENTLY THEY CAN REMAIN ON because its hot as well!!)
A: It's a free country, isn't it? as long as you are not right next to pedestrians or the sound of your engine does not disturb the cars around you BUT ALL ENGINES MUST BE OFF DURING MOVIE if engine will disturb the showing.
Q: Do you have CAPTIONS?
A: Our public night films are not captioned. But we are always open to doing special discounted private nights for small or large groups who want to see a movie with subtitles on the screen. We have done a number of English Captioned nights over the years. You can also request (1-2) weeks in advance that we change a showing to a caption showing!)
Q: What is your format?
A: We screen Hi-Def Digital projection on a 25 by 14 ft. widescreen IN ATX AND 32 FT IN in Round Rock. Select screens also have 4K!
Q: Can I reserve the drive-in for just me and my babe? Or for a bunch of my friends, And what can we show?
A: Yes. And we make it quite affordable, you will be surprised. See our Rental section. We want anyone that wants a private drive-in night, to be able to have one! We also have very reasonable rates for larger parties anywhere from 10 to over 100! You bring the DVD of your choice and we will do the rest! See our rental menu HERE!
Q: What is your FOREST SCREENs all about?
A: It is our WALK-IN/SIT-IN NON CAR OUTDOOR CINEMA experiences. You will sit in chairs (your own or ours) and watch the movie with social distancing. All seating is 10-15 feet apart and we only take 12-20 guests per show. Plenty of space to feel safe and comfortable!

If a ticket page has an OPTION FOR GROUPON UPGRADE- You can buy the $10/$15 Groupon upgrade to drive-in otherwise it is a WALK-IN DEAL as stated on the Groupon.
HOW TO BUY TICKET
Basic Car options-
1. Buy your car slot for 1, 2, 3 , or 4 people and add additional passengers for each person in car if you have more than the number of people that come with your car slot ticket. over 3 years old needs tickets.
2. Add additional upgrades
(some tickets will say car slot for 2 on certain screens- in this case you will just have to buy additional passengers over the # that come with the ticket- So if you buy one of our car slot for 2 tickets and you have 4 people in car you will buy 2 additional passengers on top of car slot for 2 ticket. )
Note: All tickets to all screens are for any size car!
NOTE ON THE SIDESHOW DRIVE - IN
All tickets FOR SIDE SHOW are good for ANY SIZE CAR
- THE SIDESHOW ONLY TAKES 15 CARS A SHOW SO RESERVE CAR SLOTS FOR SIDESHOW IN ADVANCE ALWAYS!
-Hatch up space is limited to the first 2 hatch hopefulls that arrive for sideshow.
-We can only group cars together at a sideshow and main screen if they arrive at the same time and are similar sizes! and only if space at the time of arrival permits.
What are the Private Mini Screen?
We have them available on listed nights on our ticket page! you can reserve for 1 - 6 cars. We have them at both our Downtown and new Central location!
Our Private mini screens are our newest invention. It a screen for 1 or 2 cars where you can pick any movie we are currently showing at Mueller or bring your own! AND IT COMES WITH OUR DELUXE CONCESSIONS PACKAGES! Tickets for these limited slots are available on our ticket page for MUELLER nightly and you will text us a few hours before arrival what you would like to screen!

GRUMPY, MEAN, SARCASTIC, Combative, Rude ATTITUDE will not be tolerated. We ask everyone to leave their bad days, moods and issues at the gate before entering the drive-in!
Our happy patrons and staff want to spend their evening in a positive environment. We are a small space where every person helps create the ambiance / experience of the Boutique Drive-in.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone being Nasty, Rude, or Huffy to our staff or patrons. Yes, we are serious!
Cars with reservations must show up at least 15 minutes BEFORE show time to guarantee space!
YOU MUST HAVE all your "Gen Admin" Ticket PEOPLE IN YOUR CAR WHEN YOU DRIVE-IN ON THE PROPERTY !

Gift Certificates Can be used at any time but you must email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your date, time, and movie so we can put aside a ticket before it sells out! Black out dates for Gift Certificate use are Oct. 20-31 and Feb 1-15. (This applies to Make up dates as well!) GET OUR NEW GIFT CERTIFICATES HERE!
Check in at our ticket/check in booth. For downtown screen 1 bring your own seats and for Mueller walk-in screens we have seating for you!
We are not responsible for you or your car while in drive-in.
Keep your children with you at all times.
Dogs are only allowed if leashed, not barking, and friendly.
We do not allow people to be noticeably intoxicated on our grounds if we see that you are a danger to yourself, our property or the people around you, OR YOU ARE RUINING THE EXPERIENCE FOR OTHER DRIVE-IN PATRONS you will be TOLD to leave the premises WITH NO REFUND. our downtown location is BYOB our new Central Location is NOT as we have our onsite CANTEEN for pre movie drinks!
No screaming or yelling and NO TALKING DURING THE MOVIE.
Please feel free to make out during the movie. - But keep your clothes on.
Please remember to turn off your vehicle and all its lights during the show. Please turn off the volume on all personal electronics.
DO NOT TEXT OR USE YOUR CELL PHONE OUTSIDE OF YOUR CAR and be considerate of your fellow drive-inners.
You can NOT SMOKE IN YOUR CAR OR NEXT TO IT as SMOKE WILL GET INTO THE CARS AROUND YOU! There are smoking areas on the outskirts of the drive-in area.
You can NOT be NOTICEABLY INTOXICATED in the DRIVE-IN AREA. If you are you will be asked to leave!
And we reserve the RIGHT to TELL anyone who is getting in the way of others enjoying the drive in to LEAVE without a REFUND.
Your FM car volume should NEVER BE ABLE TO BE HEARD outside of your car!
Typically, we will not call the film off until 15 minutes after the show's START TIME. IF IT IS STILL RAINING HARD ENOUGH TO MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO RUN OUR EQUIPMENT SAFELY THEN AT THAT TIME WE WILL CALL it a RAIN OUT. if it starts raining during a film we will only call it a RAIN OUT if it begins RAINING HARD ENOUGH TO MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO RUN OUR EQUIPMENT SAFELY.
If there is a LIGHTING OR DANGEROUS WIND STORM before film we reserve the right to cancel /CLOSE up to 30 minutes before showtime without warning.
If we do call it a RAIN OUT, we will provide rainchecks, which are useable at ANY future show, and try to reschedule the movie for a future date. We do not offer REFUNDS, just Rain Checks for make up dates or other future showings.
